Summary Bruhn's book has become universally acclaimed standard reference for flight vehicle analysis. Even while reviewers praise it, they always mention caveats: no index, terse table of contents, uninspired, illustrations, and terse explanations in the examples. Despite these warnings, the book has been selling steadily since 1973 (!), a remarkable achievement for any engineering book.
A companion book, often mentioned in the same breath, is Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain (ISBN 007072542X).
