Using cookies and storing your sign-in on your PC
Your account sign-in information is stored on your PC as a 'cookie' when you select the 'Remember me' checkbox when signing in or entering your account information. We then use it to automatically sign you in to our store on subsequent visits to our site. You may select this option when you sign in, and can change your choice by editing your account information from the link on the home page. By default, we do not save this information on your PC. For home PCs, this is usually a safe option, but if you use a shared PC at an office, school, or other public place, you should NOT save your information on the PC.
Important: You should always remember your Booksmatter password or write it down in a safe place - you will need it to sign in from other PCs, or if the 'cookie' is deleted from the PC you usually use. We may also ask for it if you have not visited our site in a long time.
The prices shown on our web site are subject to change. Our price is based on the book publisher's most current list price, which sometimes changes between the time when a book is first announced and when it is finally published, or for later printings of the same book. The prices are updated every evening by feeds from national book distributors. We'll notify you of a price increase on your order unless you've told us not to.
